Do we have to clear the room of furniture?
Answer
We will move furniture from rooms at an extra cost but we advise you of this at the time of your estimate. If the floor requires screeding prior to fitting the flooring, then we require a completely clear room. Again, we will advise you when we visit as every job is different!
How long does screed take to dry?
Answer
This is dependent on the temperature & humidity of the room but on average it will take approximately 3 – 4 hours before being able to walk on the floor again.
Do I vaccum clean new carpets?
Answer
In most cases the answer is yes. All our fitters will vaccum the floor after they have laid your new carpet. New carpets produce an amount of excess ‘fluff’ which requires fairly frequent vaccuming to prevent the pile of the carpet flattening.
